About the Role
Nautilus Nigeria Engineering and Construction Limited (NNEC) is a premier provider of world-class engineering, project management, and technical manpower services to the global oil and gas industry. We are currently looking for a skilled and dedicated Construction Superintendent III to join our expanding team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling daily field operations for assigned crafts and subcontractors, ensuring that all project objectives are met safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise day-to-day field operations, construction planning, execution, and completions for assigned crafts and subcontractors.
- Assist in the preparation and review of submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), and Requests for Clarification (RFCs), providing expert recommendations.
- Review contractor health, safety, traffic control, and environmental protection plans to ensure full compliance.
- Verify construction quantities for accurate contractor payments and resource tracking.
- Identify non-conformance issues during construction and collaborate with project teams to implement effective resolutions.
- Serve as the lead company representative at sub-sites where the Construction Site Manager or Lead is not permanently stationed.
- Maintain strong communication channels and foster positive working relationships with all contractors and stakeholders.
- Proven experience in field construction planning, execution, and completions within the oil and gas or major capital projects sector.
- Demonstrated past experience working as a Construction Superintendent on major capital infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with Construction Materials Testing procedures and relevant ASTM standards.
- Willingness to travel domestically and overseas to various project sites as required.
