About the Role
AMO Farm Sieberer Hatchery Limited, a market leader in the day-old chicks and poultry sector, is seeking a competent, experienced, and results-driven Construction Project Engineer. You will spearhead the planning, engineering, execution, and handover of construction and infrastructure projects across our facilities, ensuring they meet rigorous safety, budget, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and manage construction projects from concept through commissioning and handover.
- Review engineering drawings, ensure adherence to designs, and provide technical direction.
- Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to maintain daily progress and high workmanship standards.
- Monitor project expenditures, evaluate BOQs, and manage variations efficiently.
- Enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) compliance across all active construction sites.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, and defects liability close-out procedures.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Construction, or Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant construction project engineering experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or agricultural environment.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, BOQs, and HSE standards.
- Proficiency in project management software and engineering drawing interpretation.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and multidisciplinary stakeholder management skills.
