About the Role
4 Quarters Consultants Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Carpenter to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional construction projects by executing precise carpentry work, ensuring structural integrity, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and construction plans to determine the scope of work and required materials.
- Install structures, including framing, walls, partitions, and roofing systems, ensuring proper alignment, fit, and adherence to building codes.
- Construct and install interior and exterior finishes, including trims, moldings, casings, doors, and windows for a polished appearance.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other construction professionals to ensure efficient project execution.
- Inspect structures to identify and correct defects, ensuring full compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Repair or replace damaged or worn-out wooden structures, fixtures, and furniture efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure working environment and prevent accidents.
- HND or OND in a related field, or completion of a recognized carpentry apprenticeship program or vocational training.
- Proven professional experience as a Construction Carpenter or in a similar building trade role.
- Strong working knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and construction standards.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials and perform demanding tasks on construction sites.
