We are recruiting a dedicated and technically proficient Computer Laboratory Operator to join our dynamic team. This is a critical position responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance, and supervision of our computer laboratories, ensuring they meet the highest standards of functionality and safety for our students and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain all computer laboratory equipment and software systems
- Monitor laboratory usage and ensure compliance with institutional policies and procedures
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to students and staff
- Perform regular maintenance, updates, and security checks on all systems
- Maintain accurate inventory records of laboratory equipment and consumables
- Ensure laboratory cleanliness, safety, and security standards are upheld
- Create and enforce user guidelines and access protocols
- Document and report system issues and maintenance activities
- Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mass Communication or a related field
- Proven experience in computer laboratory management or IT support
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
