About the Role
Woodridge and Scott Consulting is looking for a dedicated and hands-on Computer & ICT Hardware Engineer to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that all computer hardware, servers, laptops, and IT equipment meet the highest quality and functionality standards before reaching our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware faults in desktop computers, laptops, workstations, and servers.
- Assemble and configure custom-built PCs, ensuring optimal performance and compatibility.
- Perform component-level repairs and upgrades, including RAM, SSDs, GPUs, and motherboards.
- Provide expert pre-sales technical support by recommending suitable hardware solutions based on client budgets and requirements.
- Deliver exceptional technical support to customers remotely and on-site.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1 to 5 years of practical experience in computer hardware engineering, maintenance, and repairs.
- Strong working knowledge of computer architecture, component compatibility, and Windows operating systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and alongside a dynamic sales team.
