About the Role
OPay Digital Services Limited is seeking a meticulous and analytical Compliance Officer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this vital role, you will help protect our millions of users by ensuring all operations strictly adhere to Central Bank of Nigeria regulations, anti-money laundering laws, and internal ethical policies.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate fraud-related transactions and monitor activities to detect unusual or suspicious patterns.
- Conduct preliminary investigations on flagged transactions and communicate findings to the Chief Compliance Officer.
- Prepare and submit timely regulatory returns in strict compliance with CBN AML/CFT/CPF regulations.
- Manage and respond to requests from law enforcement agencies including the EFCC, Nigeria Police Force, DSS, and NFIU.
- Process and review customer requests for letters of non-indebtedness and refund cases efficiently.
- Possession of a B.Sc. or HND in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in AML/CFT, compliance, or financial crime roles within the banking or fintech sector.
- Strong familiarity with AML monitoring tools, core banking systems, and regulatory reporting frameworks.
- Exceptional investigative, analytical, and report-writing skills with high ethical standards.
