We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Compliance & Government Relations Consultant to support our ProTaxi initiative in Abuja.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) e-hailing operator licensing process and ensure adherence to ongoing regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate Directorate of Road Traffic Services (DRTS) requirements and streamline the driver documentation pathway.
- Support regulatory API and data requirements in close coordination with the ProDevs global delivery team.
- Guide the business on essential driver licensing, operational permits, vehicle registration, and association requirements.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with relevant government bodies, transport authorities, and driver associations.
- Monitor regulatory changes proactively, providing early warnings regarding policies affecting ProTaxi operations or electric vehicles.
- Advise executive management on ongoing compliance obligations, required documentation, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Proven track record with existing working relationships with relevant FCT transport authorities and regulatory bodies.
- Prior hands-on experience supporting an e-hailing, mass transport, or mobility operator through licensing and compliance cycles.
- Strong understanding of Nigerian transport regulations, digital platform policies, and municipal government relations.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to deliver effectively in a part-time retained advisory capacity.
- Competitive monthly retainer of 350,000 to 450,000 Naira.
