We are currently recruiting a skilled Completions Engineer to join our client's operations and deliver exceptional engineering solutions. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing well performance, ensuring adherence to the highest safety and quality standards, and contributing to the overall success of complex drilling and completion projects.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare comprehensive technical specifications, accurate equipment tallies, and detailed execution procedures for well tubing and completion installations.
- Conduct rigorous tubing stress analysis and lead the selection of appropriate downhole equipment to ensure optimal well integrity and performance.
- Plan and coordinate complex well intervention activities while providing reliable real-time engineering support during active completion runs.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, rig crews, and external vendors to ensure seamless offshore and onshore project execution.
- Ensure all engineering designs and field operations strictly comply with industry best practices, environmental regulations, and company safety standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven professional experience in completions design and hands-on field implementation within the oil and gas industry.
- Demonstrated proficiency in tubing stress analysis software and advanced well completion engineering tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to thrive in high-pressure operational environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to coordinate effectively with diverse technical teams in Nigeria.
