About the Role
AMO Farm Sieberer Hatchery Limited is a leading agribusiness committed to driving profitable poultry farming across Nigeria through exceptional day-old chicks and agricultural products. We are currently seeking a strategic, creative, and results-driven Communications Manager to lead the development and execution of our comprehensive internal and external communications strategy. In this pivotal role, you will act as the custodian of our corporate voice and reputation, translating business objectives into impactful narratives that resonate with employees, customers, industry partners, and the media.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement an integrated communications strategy aligned with the company's business goals and growth objectives.
- Lead internal communication programmes, managing channels such as newsletters, town halls, and employee engagement platforms in partnership with HR.
- Manage external and corporate communications, drafting press releases, corporate statements, executive speeches, and institutional materials.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media organisations and journalists to secure positive publicity and manage public perception.
- Oversee digital and social media communications, ensuring brand consistency and tracking engagement metrics across all online platforms.
- Support senior management with executive visibility, crisis communication frameworks, and reputation management.
- Plan and coordinate corporate events, conferences, and stakeholder engagements to reinforce our market position.
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Master's degree or relevant professional certifications will be a distinct advantage.
- 5 to 8 years of proven experience in corporate communications, public relations, media relations, or digital marketing.
- Exceptional storytelling, copywriting, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in crisis management, executive positioning, and digital strategy.
- Prior experience in agriculture, poultry, FMCG, or manufacturing sectors is highly desirable.
