About the Role
NerdzFactory is a fast-growing human capital and technology company based in Lagos, Nigeria, with diverse verticals spanning EdTech, digital agencies, and tech education. We are currently looking for a creative, curious, and detail-oriented Communications Intern (NYSC) to join our vibrant team. This is a practical internship designed for a corps member eager to build hands-on experience in digital communications, content creation, social media management, and brand storytelling. Working closely with our communications team, you will help shape our public voice and showcase our organizational impact across multiple innovative product lines.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in developing and executing engaging content plans for various social media and digital platforms.
- Write, edit, and proofread clear and compelling copy for newsletters, blog posts, campaigns, and web pages.
- Support community engagement initiatives and monitor online discussions to build brand loyalty.
- Conduct research on emerging digital trends, communication tools, and audience preferences.
- Collaborate with the creative team to produce multimedia content that highlights company projects, programmes, and impact stories.
- Track and report on social media analytics and campaign performance metrics.
- Currently serving in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) with primary assignment eligibility in Lagos.
- Degree in Mass Communication, English, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong eye for detail.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms and digital marketing best practices.
- Creative mindset with basic graphic design or video editing skills will be an added advantage.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
