About the Role
Wema Bank Plc is looking for a driven and results-oriented Commercial Relationship Management Officer to join our vibrant sales team on Lagos Island. In this role, you will be instrumental in building robust client relationships, driving customer acquisition, and executing strategic branch sales initiatives to fuel our continued growth in the commercial and retail banking sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Execute branch commercial sales strategies to achieve deposit, loan, and overdraft growth targets.
- Drive customer acquisition and manage existing commercial accounts through proactive relationship management and site visits.
- Conduct thorough financial statement analysis, cash flow forecasts, and credit risk assessments in line with bank policies.
- Ensure strict adherence to KYC compliance, AML regulations, and internal risk management frameworks.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving queries promptly and identifying cross-selling opportunities.
- Minimum of a First Degree in any discipline from a recognized institution.
- 3 to 8 years of cognate sales and marketing experience within the banking sector.
- Professional certification such as the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) is an added advantage.
- Strong digital literacy with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
