About the Role
Aldelia Limited is a globally trusted recruitment and workforce solutions provider specialising in the Oil & Gas, energy, and infrastructure sectors. We are currently looking for an experienced and driven Commercial Operations Manager to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this strategic role, you will provide end-to-end commercial leadership, optimize project profitability, and drive robust cost governance across complex brownfield, marginal field, and EPC/EPCM scopes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide end-to-end commercial leadership across oil and gas, infrastructure, and engineering projects.
- Identify new commercial opportunities, develop business cases, and secure approvals for intercompany billing.
- Drive lifecycle costing and value engineering initiatives to optimize design, execution strategies, and capital allocation.
- Lead change management processes, including the evaluation, negotiation, and formalization of contract variations.
- Administer EPC, EPCM, and service contracts under FIDIC and industry-specific frameworks while supporting dispute resolution.
- Develop and manage accurate intercompany billing frameworks, ensuring transparency, proper allocations, and timely reconciliations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline; an MBA is highly preferred.
- 8 to 10 years of robust experience in commercial operations, bid management, or proposal development within the energy or engineering services sector.
- Strong expertise in commercial and cost governance, risk management, and contract administration.
- Demonstrated proficiency in claims management, dispute resolution, and procurement advisory.
