About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a premier provider of outsourcing, technical staffing, and consultancy services to the Nigerian oil and gas industry. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated professional to join our commercial team as a Commercial Officer, Crude Accounting & Reporting. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and timely delivery of crude oil data, maintaining compliance with fiscal frameworks, and fostering strong relationships with key regulatory bodies in Nigeria's oil and gas sector.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and submit statutory crude oil production, lifting, stock, and sales reports to Government agencies, regulators, and Partners.
- Prepare crude oil accounting schedules and validate production, lifting, stock, entitlement, and revenue data.
- Coordinate quarterly, half-yearly, and annual crude oil reconciliation exercises with Government agencies and Partners.
- Support year-end fiscalisation, NEITI audits, and internal/external audit activities.
- Monitor and reconcile crude oil movements across Deepwater assets and terminals.
- Liaise with Finance, Audit, Field Operations, Production, and Commercial teams to ensure data accuracy.
- Maintain effective relationships with NNPC, NUPRC, NAPIMS, NEITI, FIRS, and other regulatory stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with applicable contractual, regulatory, fiscal, HSE, and cybersecurity requirements.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related numerate discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in oil and gas, crude accounting, reporting, reconciliation, or a numerate function.
- Good understanding of crude oil production, lifting, stock, entitlement, and commercial processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, LIMA, NPMS, NBOP, and other relevant reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, numerical, reconciliation, and data validation skills with a high attention to detail.
- Boslet training certificate will be an added advantage.
