About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited, a leading provider of technical staffing and procurement services in the Nigerian oil and gas industry, is looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our dynamic commercial team. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of agreements and new requests, enabling the efficient and effective purchase of goods and services from purchase to pay with a strong focus on business value, on-time delivery, and reduced cycle times.
Key Responsibilities- Negotiate contract pricing, terms, and conditions directly with suppliers while collaborating with internal stakeholders to secure lowest total system costs and mitigate legal risks.
- Execute Procure-to-Pay (PtP) processes in full compliance with the Sourcing and Acquisition Handbook and Controls Integrity Management System catalogs.
- Maintain the agreement portfolio by managing scope updates, pricing, exhibits, and contract amendments.
- Ensure contract compliance and utilization by actively monitoring supplier performance and troubleshooting operational issues.
- Identify business value opportunities and implement fit-for-risk process improvements within the portfolio.
- Develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships to consistently meet or exceed business line expectations.
- Demonstrated behavioral skills including strong analytical abilities, effective communication, sound decision-making, and a competitive drive to create business value.
- Core functional expertise in Procure-to-Pay knowledge, system utilization, total system cost management, and application of a controls mindset.
- Proficiency in contract development, contract management, negotiation and influencing, and stakeholder relationship management.
- Ability to work effectively under high supervision while handling routine procurement and supply chain tasks.
