We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Commerce Teacher to join our dynamic academic team and inspire senior secondary students to achieve their highest potential.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in Commerce to Senior Secondary School students in accordance with the Nigerian educational curriculum.
- Prepare detailed lesson plans, instructional materials, and schemes of work to facilitate active learning.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through regular quizzes, tests, assignments, and examinations, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain a disciplined, orderly, and positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Monitor student academic growth and maintain accurate records of attendance and performance.
- Participate actively in school co-curricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavioral development.
- Possess a relevant academic qualification such as a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), B.Sc., or B.A in Commerce, Economics, Business Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of proven teaching experience in a recognized secondary school setting.
- Strong command of the Nigerian secondary school curriculum for Commerce.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- High level of discipline, punctuality, and a strong sense of professional responsibility.
- Ability to work efficiently with little or no supervision while demonstrating a strong work ethic.
- Candidates residing in or around Ifo, Ogun State, or its environs will have an added advantage.
