Federal University Lafia, established in 2011 to expand access to quality tertiary education in Nigeria, is currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated professional to fill the position of Lecturer II - French. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in French language, literature, and linguistics.
- Design, update, and evaluate course curriculum to meet national and international academic standards.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, essays, and dissertations.
- Conduct high-level academic research and publish findings in reputable, peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative duties and committees.
- Provide mentorship, academic advising, and career guidance to students.
- Possession of a Ph.D. degree in French or a closely related relevant field from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Alternatively, a Master's degree in French with at least two (2) peer-reviewed journal publications.
- A minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification teaching and research experience at the university level.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to the academic community through research and publications.
