We are seeking a passionate Commerce Teacher who views education as a powerful tool for equity and is eager to grow professionally while transforming young lives in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver problem-based learning experiences that connect classroom concepts to real-world community challenges.
- Facilitate student-centered lessons using interactive, visual, and practical teaching methods tailored to diverse learners.
- Provide personalized instruction, regular feedback, and comprehensive termly reports to students and parents.
- Assess and document student progress using innovative project-based evaluation methods.
- Participate in peer lesson plan reviews, curriculum development, and professional development sessions.
- Partner with parents, community stakeholders, and fellow educators to foster a supportive learning ecosystem.
- Uphold Talent Mine's child protection policies with unwavering commitment and model positive leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject area.
- Demonstrated classroom teaching experience, preferably working with children in dynamic environments.
- Strong understanding of learner-centered and problem-based teaching practices.
- Proficiency in using Google Suite tools including Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms.
- Genuine belief in every child's potential regardless of their socioeconomic background.
- Strong moral compass, excellent interpersonal skills, and outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
