About the Role
CashXpress Nigeria Limited bridges the financial gap for individuals by providing fast loans with competitive interest rates and without discrimination. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Collection Specialist to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our financial health by managing debt recovery while upholding professional customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Contact customers via calls, SMS, WhatsApp, and email regarding due and overdue payments.
- Follow up consistently with customers to secure payment commitments and recover outstanding debts.
- Engage customers professionally and negotiate suitable repayment plans.
- Review loan information, payment history, and account records to determine appropriate collection strategies.
- Negotiate settlements, restructuring options, and repayment arrangements within approved guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payment commitments, payments, and account status.
- Address customer concerns professionally and provide appropriate repayment solutions.
- Meet and consistently achieve assigned collection and recovery targets.
- Identify and escalate unresolved, delinquent, or high-risk accounts appropriately.
- Minimum of a Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in debt recovery, customer service, or a related financial role.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult customer interactions professionally.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in maintaining accurate account records.
- Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to meet and exceed strict performance targets.
- Competitive net monthly salary of NGN 150,000.
- Daily transport allowance of NGN 2,000 paid outside the base salary.
