Key Responsibilities- Inspect, diagnose, and repair various types of shoes, boots, and leather footwear.
- Perform high-quality sole replacements, heel repairs, stitching, and patch applications.
- Restore and condition leather uppers, treating scuffs, stains, and fading to match original finishes.
- Clean, polish, and shine shoes meticulously to meet Garment Care’s premium quality standards.
- Handle customer items with utmost care, ensuring secure tagging, tracking, and timely turnaround.
- Provide basic consultations to customers regarding leather care and feasible repair options when required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation with proper tool and equipment maintenance.
- Proven professional experience as a cobbler, shoemaker, or leather repair specialist.
- Deep understanding of different leather types, shoe construction, and traditional repair techniques.
- Proficiency in using standard cobbler tools, machinery, and leather-care adhesives safely.
- Strong attention to detail with high dexterity and manual precision.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet daily production deadlines.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills for customer interaction.
