About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is recruiting a dedicated CNG Station Operator to join our team in Arepo, close to Mowe, Ogun State. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Compressed Natural Gas facility, ensuring that all equipment functions safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor CNG compressors, dispensers, storage cascades, and associated station equipment.
- Track operating pressure, temperature, gas flow rates, and overall equipment performance closely.
- Conduct thorough routine inspections to detect gas leaks, unusual noises, or equipment faults promptly.
- Perform safe equipment start-up and shutdown procedures in strict alignment with operating guidelines.
- Maintain accurate daily operational logs, inspection checklists, and shift handover reports.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to support routine servicing and resolve technical faults.
- Strictly adhere to HSE policies, ensuring emergency response systems and firefighting gear remain functional.
- Maintain absolute cleanliness, safety, and orderliness within the entire station premises.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in CNG station operations, industrial gas facilities, or oil and gas.
- Basic technical knowledge of compressors, high-pressure gas systems, and pressure control equipment.
- Proven ability to read technical gauges, monitor control panels, and accurately record operating parameters.
- Solid understanding of workplace safety procedures, hazardous environments, and emergency response protocols.
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in CNG operations, mechanical engineering, or industrial safety.
