About the Role
Sinoma Cargo International Nigeria Limited, a leading logistics and warehousing provider in Lagos, is looking for an experienced CNG Mechanic to join our growing fleet operations. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our CNG-powered heavy-duty trucks, supporting our comprehensive freight and distribution services across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose, maintain, and repair CNG-powered trucks and heavy-duty commercial vehicles.
- Perform routine servicing, preventive maintenance, and advanced troubleshooting of CNG engines and related fuel systems.
- Inspect CNG fuel systems, regulators, high-pressure valves, pipelines, and associated components for faults, wear, and gas leaks.
- Identify complex mechanical and engine performance issues and carry out prompt, effective repairs.
- Ensure all workshop and maintenance activities strictly comply with company procedures and health, safety, and environment (HSE) standards.
- Maintain accurate daily maintenance records and report recurring mechanical defects to the fleet management team.
- Relevant technical qualification or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a closely related field.
- Proven hands-on experience in CNG vehicle maintenance and repairs, specifically involving heavy-duty trucks and commercial fleets.
- Deep understanding of CNG engine management systems, diagnostic tools, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical problem-solving, and practical technical skills.
