About the Role
Multipro Consumer Products Limited, a proud subsidiary of the Tolaram Group and the leading sales, haulage, and logistics company in Nigeria, is looking for a dynamic and experienced CNG Fleet Maintenance & Operation Manager. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the daily running, mechanical servicing, and rigorous safety compliance of our Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicles and associated infrastructure. Key Responsibilities- Oversee comprehensive CNG vehicle preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to guarantee maximum fleet longevity and reliability.
- Monitor vehicle uptime, operational breakdowns, maintenance costs, and overall fleet performance metrics.
- Manage CNG refuelling operations efficiently, ensuring strict adherence to approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct and coordinate thorough vehicle safety inspections and advanced CNG system checks.
- Ensure total compliance with applicable national safety standards, environmental regulations, and statutory inspection requirements.
- Maintain accurate technical records, detailed inspection reports, maintenance history logs, and daily operational dashboards.
- Coordinate seamlessly with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), third-party service providers, and CNG station operators.
- Track CNG consumption rates, maintenance expenditure budgets, and other vital operational KPIs.
- B.Sc., B.Eng., or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related engineering discipline.
- Relevant professional certifications in automotive maintenance, CNG technology, or gas safety will be a distinct advantage.
- At least 2 to 3 years of hands-on professional experience working directly with CNG vehicles and CNG conversion systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong capabilities in technical data analysis and reporting.
- Formal training and certification in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and specialized CNG technical procedures.
