About the Role
Genesis Specialist Hospital, a premier surgical center in Lagos featuring state-of-the-art operating rooms and comprehensive surgical services, is seeking an experienced and highly organized Clinical Manager. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the operational lead for patient-care activities, seamlessly coordinating the patient journey from the front desk through consultation, investigations, admission, treatment, discharge, and follow-up. We are looking for a dedicated healthcare professional who can effectively combine clinical expertise with strong administrative and leadership capabilities to drive operational excellence in our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily inpatient and outpatient clinical operations while ensuring adherence to hospital policies and patient-safety standards.
- Coordinate the complete patient care lifecycle from registration through discharge, treatment, and follow-up care.
- Supervise multidisciplinary clinical support staff, including nurses, nursing assistants, laboratory staff, and physiotherapists.
- Ensure physician orders, investigations, treatments, referrals, and consultations are executed promptly and accurately.
- Monitor admitted patients, track outstanding clinical tasks, and proactively address bottlenecks, communication gaps, and patient complaints.
- Manage staff attendance, punctuality, performance evaluations, professional accountability, and infection-control practices.
- Generate regular clinical and operational reports for hospital management and implement workflow improvements to enhance service delivery.
- Professional qualification in medicine, nursing, physiotherapy, or a relevant clinical discipline with valid, current licensure.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification clinical experience, ideally within a structured hospital environment.
- Demonstrated experience in leadership, supervision, administration, or multidisciplinary patient-care coordination.
- Strong working knowledge of inpatient and outpatient clinical workflows and hospital operations.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, problem-solving, and team-management abilities.
- Prior experience in a senior nursing, medical officer, unit manager, or clinical coordinator role is a distinct advantage.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from NGN 300,000 to NGN 650,000, commensurate with professional background and experience.
