About the Role
Garki Hospital Abuja (GHA), a premier 100-plus bedded facility operating under a successful Public-Private Partnership with the FCTA, is seeking a dynamic and accomplished Clinical Director. In this pivotal executive leadership role, you will oversee clinical services, drive medical innovation, and ensure the highest standards of patient care across all departments within our Abuja facility.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and overall management for all clinical and medical services within the hospital.
- Ensure compliance with national healthcare regulations, medical ethics, and hospital policies.
- Collaborate with executive management to develop and implement clinical governance, quality assurance, and patient safety protocols.
- Supervise heads of medical departments, fostering a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care and professional development.
- Monitor clinical performance metrics, manage resource allocation, and optimize hospital operational efficiency.
- Represent the hospital in professional medical forums and liaise with regulatory bodies, including the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
- Must be a Fellow of not less than five years standing from the West African College of Surgeons/Physicians or the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN) in any medical discipline.
- Must have served as a Head of Department for a Medical Unit in a recognized hospital or reputable health institution.
- Must possess a valid, current practicing license issued by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Must have an impeccable professional record with no history of professional misconduct or criminal convictions.
- Demonstrated excellence in administrative, leadership, and interpersonal skills with a proven track record in healthcare management.
