About the Role
The Federal University of Allied Health Sciences, Enugu (FUAHSE) is a newly established federal institution dedicated to bridging the manpower gap in Nigeria's healthcare sector. Following our transition from the Federal College of Dental Technology and Therapy, we now encompass six faculties and seventeen departments. We are currently seeking a diligent and organized Clerical Officer II to join our administrative workforce and support our mission of training innovative health professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily office correspondence, including receiving, sorting, and dispatching mail and official documents.
- Maintain accurate filing systems, records, and databases for university departments in compliance with institutional standards.
- Assist in the preparation, typing, and duplication of official reports, memos, and other administrative documents.
- Provide front-desk support, welcoming visitors, answering phone calls, and directing inquiries to appropriate personnel.
- Coordinate meetings by booking venues, preparing materials, and taking accurate minutes.
- Perform other routine administrative and clerical duties as assigned by the department head.
- Applicants must possess the relevant academic or professional qualifications prescribed for the position by the institution.
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and internet navigation.
