Grace Court Schools, a reputable educational institution located in Awka, Anambra State, is seeking a dedicated and self-driven Cleaner to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that is conducive to learning and growth for our students and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough cleaning of classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas daily.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Empty trash receptacles, dispose of waste properly, and sanitize bins regularly.
- Dust and wipe down furniture, windows, chalkboards, and other fixtures.
- Ensure cleaning supplies are properly stored and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations within the school premises.
- Must be self-driven, highly dedicated, and passionate about maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
- Must currently reside in Awka, Anambra State, for ease of commute and reliability.
- Previous cleaning experience in a school or similar structured environment will be an added advantage.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work harmoniously with staff and students.
