About the Role
Almaghili International Academy is dedicated to providing exceptional Western and undiluted Islamic education in a supportive and disciplined environment. We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our dedicated support staff. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for our students, staff, and visitors, directly contributing to a conducive atmosphere for both learning and spiritual growth.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and scrubbing of classrooms, offices, hallways, and restrooms.
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and maintain clean trash receptacles throughout the school facility.
- Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and responsibly according to safety guidelines.
- Report any maintenance issues, repairs, or safety hazards promptly to the school administration.
- Assist with setting up venues for school events, meetings, and special academic programs as required.
- Minimum of a Secondary School Certificate (SSCE).
- Previous professional cleaning experience in a school or similar institutional setting is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated good moral character, honesty, and trustworthiness.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact positively with students and staff.
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
