About the Role
The Kids' Rock Arena School, a prestigious day and boarding school located in Magbon, Badagry, Lagos, is seeking a diligent and reliable Cleaner. In this role, you will play a vital part in upholding our high standards of hygiene and safety across our campus, which offers a vibrant blend of Montessori, Early Years, and British curricula. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of maintaining a pristine environment for young learners to thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough cleaning duties across classrooms, dormitories, administrative offices, restrooms, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors regularly using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, windows, and educational equipment safely.
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure trash cans are emptied and sanitized daily.
- Monitor cleaning supplies inventory and report shortages to the school management.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations to prevent accidents and maintain a germ-free school environment.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards observed around the premises immediately.
- Must possess relevant academic qualifications and proven cleaning experience, preferably in a school or residential facility.
- Ability to pay strong attention to detail and manage time efficiently.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to perform routine physical tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a trustworthy, reliable disposition.
- Residing in or around Badagry, Lagos, or willing to commute reliably.
