In this role, you will play a vital part in upholding our high standards of cleanliness, ensuring that every aisle, display, and common area reflects our commitment to excellence and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing floors, shelves, and display units throughout the supermarket.
- Maintain pristine conditions in restrooms, customer lounge areas, and staff breakrooms, ensuring adequate supplies are always available.
- Properly handle waste management, including the safe disposal of trash and recycling materials in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Promptly clean up spills, debris, and potential slip hazards to guarantee a safe environment for both shoppers and staff members.
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the store management immediately.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used correctly, cleaned after every use, and stored securely in designated areas.
- Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications and a proven track record in professional cleaning or janitorial services.
- Prior experience working in a retail, supermarket, or fast-paced commercial environment is a distinct advantage.
