About the Role
Inclusive Creativemind School is a specialized educational institution located in Abeokuta, Ogun State, dedicated to providing individualized education and integrated therapy for children with special needs and developmental disabilities. We are currently seeking a meticulous and compassionate Cleaner to join our supportive school community. In this vital role, you will ensure that our classrooms, therapy rooms, and common areas remain hygienic, safe, and welcoming for our students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of classrooms, restrooms, therapy spaces, and administrative offices daily.
- Ensure all cleaning chemicals and hazardous materials are stored safely and out of the reach of children.
- Dispose of waste properly and maintain clean disposal areas throughout the school premises.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards promptly to the school administration.
- Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and request restocking as needed.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and hygiene standards appropriate for a specialized educational environment.
- Proven professional experience working as a cleaner, janitor, or in a similar housekeeping role, preferably within a school or childcare facility.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
- Compassionate, patient, and understanding attitude toward children with special needs and developmental disabilities.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with school staff.
- Relevant educational qualifications or certifications in facility hygiene are an added advantage.
