About the Role
Pocho Hospitality & Events Limited is a vibrant and popular grill and café located in the heart of Gwarinpa, Abuja, Nigeria. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional culinary experiences within a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff. We are currently looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our dedicated hospitality team and help us uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our premises.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive daily cleaning of the dining area, kitchen, restrooms, and outdoor seating spaces.
- Sanitize all high-touch surfaces, tables, chairs, and counters regularly throughout operating hours.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors thoroughly, ensuring slip hazards are promptly addressed.Properly handle, dilute, and store cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
- Dispose of waste materials and refuse in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor cleaning supplies inventory and report shortages to management in a timely manner.
- Assist with deep cleaning schedules during off-peak hours and closing shifts.
- Proven experience working as a cleaner, custodian, or in a similar hospitality sanitation role is an advantage.
- Strong commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, personal hygiene, and workplace safety.
- Ability to work efficiently, independently, and with good physical stamina in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, responsible, and possessing a positive, hardworking attitude.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.
