About the Role
Holy Child Preparatory School, a well-regarded private basic education institution located in Independence Layout, Enugu, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Classroom Teacher for our Nursery pupils. Founded by a university English lecturer with over two decades of experience, our school was explicitly established to bridge critical gaps in primary school literacy and language proficiency in South Eastern Nigeria. Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive lessons tailored to nursery pupils.
- Develop foundational literacy, numeracy, and language proficiency skills in young learners.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages positive behavior and social interaction.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, maintaining accurate records and providing constructive feedback to parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school administration to implement the core curriculum and school activities.
- Possess relevant educational qualifications such as NCE, B.Ed, or B.A in Education or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience in early childhood education or nursery school teaching.
- Exceptional command of the English language, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A deep passion for child development and foundational literacy in South Eastern Nigeria.
