About the Role
Aster Bloom Academy is a prestigious private educational institution located in the serene Government Reserved Area (GRA) of Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. Formerly known as Chucklers Heights Montessori, our school has recently undergone a major structural evolution, transitioning to a newly developed permanent site and successfully expanding our operations into secondary education. We are currently seeking dedicated, innovative, and qualified Classroom Teachers to join our dynamic faculty and contribute to our academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in alignment with the approved national and international curricula.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that fosters holistic student development.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
- Collaborate with fellow educators, administrators, and parents to support student behavioral and academic goals.
- Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, professional development workshops, and staff meetings.
- Possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed) or a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline (B.A./B.Sc.) with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).
- Proven teaching experience within a reputable primary or secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about child development, modern pedagogical approaches, and interactive learning.
- Must reside in Benin City or be willing to relocate to Edo State.
