Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with modern blended learning methodologies and the British Curriculum where applicable.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and technologically integrated classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and creativity.
  • Utilize excellent phonics knowledge and strong diction to develop students' foundational reading and communication skills.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and regular updates to parents.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, school leadership, and support staff to maintain the school's high educational standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of student attendance, performance, and behavioral development.
Qualifications
  • Possess an approved teaching qualification (B.Ed., B.Sc., or PGDE) in any relevant field.
  • Valid Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven teaching experience working with children aged 3 to 11 years.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and a strong understanding of blended learning environments.
  • Exceptional knowledge of phonics and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience teaching with the British Curriculum will be a strong added advantage.
  • Must provide a clean medical certificate upon employment.
