About the Role
Emmanuel New Life International Schools, located at 28 Ikot Awak Road, Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State, is a prestigious Nursery and Primary institution catering to approximately 500 children from Pre-Nursery to Primary 6. Set within spacious, landscaped grounds with modern indoor and outdoor learning areas, well-resourced science and ICT labs, and a comprehensive library, we pride ourselves on being a friendly and caring educational community. We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Classroom Teacher to join our dedicated team and contribute to the academic excellence and holistic development of our pupils.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive lessons aligned with the school curriculum for nursery or primary pupils.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that fosters positive learning behaviors.
- Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to students, parents, and school management.
- Utilize school resources effectively, including ICT labs and library materials, to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
- Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school-wide extracurricular events and activities.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and ensure the pastoral care and general well-being of all pupils in your charge.
- Possession of a relevant academic qualification in Education (NCE, B.Ed, B.Sc.Ed, or PGDE).
- Proven teaching experience within a reputable nursery or primary school setting.
- Strong passion for child development, modern educational methodologies, and creative teaching techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team of educators in Akwa Ibom State.
