About the Role
Day Stars High School has grown over the past 12 years into a renowned citadel of learning with multiple campuses across the Osogbo metropolis. We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Chemistry Educator to join our vibrant academic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping students' scientific curiosity, fostering a positive learning environment, and driving academic excellence in Chemistry.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver well-structured, engaging, and interactive Chemistry lessons aligned with the secondary school curriculum.
- Design, administer, and assess quizzes, tests, and practical examinations to monitor student progress and academic growth.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and positive classroom environment conducive to effective learning and student participation.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and collaborate with parents regarding academic performance.
- Support and actively participate in school extracurricular activities, science fairs, and institutional events.
- Possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) in Chemistry or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven teaching experience in a reputable secondary school setting.
- Strong subject matter expertise with exceptional classroom management and communication skills.
- Must reside within or around Osogbo, Osun State, for easy accessibility to the school campus.
