About the Role
Living Treasure Academy, a reputable private Christian educational institution located in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Class Assistant for our preschool section. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment for young children, partnering closely with lead teachers to foster early childhood development.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and educational activities for preschool children.
- Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating learning space.
- Provide individualized attention and care to students, supporting their social, emotional, and physical needs.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, snack times, and routine transitions to ensure safety.
- Prepare instructional materials, arts and crafts supplies, and learning aids as directed by the lead teacher.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with parents regarding daily activities and student progress when required.
- Possess relevant academic qualifications in early childhood education, child care, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with preschool or kindergarten children in a recognized school setting.
- Strong passion for child development and a patient, nurturing, and empathetic demeanor.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
