About the Role
Alpha Bravo Integrated Services Limited specializes in providing customized engineering solutions to companies operating in the Maritime, Petrochemical, Energy, Oil, and Gas sectors. We are currently looking for a dynamic and dedicated Civil / Structural Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering high-quality design solutions for various offshore and onshore infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, compliance, and structural integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive civil and structural engineering designs, calculations, and detailed drawings for oil, gas, and maritime projects.
- Ensure all engineering designs comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and local regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams, project managers, and clients to meet project deadlines and specifications.
- Conduct site surveys, structural assessments, and feasibility studies as required by project scopes.
- Review and approve contractor design submittals, technical specifications, and material requisitions.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, method statements, and structural analysis documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant engineering design experience within the oil and gas, maritime, or petrochemical industries.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, and SAP2000.
- Demonstrated knowledge of international design codes and Nigerian industry standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Current registration with COREN is a distinct advantage.
