About the Role
Scruples Resources is a leading consultancy and human resource provider in the Nigerian energy sector, connecting top engineering talent with major industry projects. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Civil & Structural Construction Supervisor III to provide exceptional field-based technical support and supervision for critical wellbore construction activities from planning through to final handover.
Key Responsibilities- Provide field-based technical support and supervision for wellbore construction activities including drilling, casing, cementing, and completion.
- Monitor operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with approved programs and industry standards.
- Review drilling programs, well schematics, casing designs, and cementing procedures.
- Coordinate seamlessly with drilling, completions, subsurface, and rig teams.
- Identify operational risks such as lost circulation, kicks, and wellbore instability while recommending corrective actions.
- Ensure stringent implementation of well control procedures, emergency responses, and HSE policies.
- Review daily drilling reports and maintain accurate operational documentation.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Petroleum, Drilling, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 7 to 10 years of relevant oil and gas well construction and drilling experience, with strong field expertise.
- Proven background in supporting offshore, deepwater, or complex well operations.
- Strong knowledge of drilling engineering, casing, cementing, and well integrity standards.
- IWCF or IADC certification in well control is highly desirable.
