About the Role
FIPHS Infrastructure Limited is a leading indigenous world-class infrastructure development company dedicated to addressing Africa's infrastructure deficit. We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Nigeria, playing a pivotal role in the design, construction, and maintenance of vital physical and infrastructural environments including roads, bridges, water systems, and structures.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive day-to-day field supervision at project sites, ensuring all construction strictly adheres to quality standards, design specifications, drawings, budgets, and schedules.
- Conduct thorough technical feasibility studies and site investigations to establish efficient project execution strategies.
- Identify and resolve complex project design and development problems while recommending measures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Coordinate all fieldwork and contract work to guarantee full compliance with company standards, safety procedures, specifications, and local codes.
- Test building materials for quality assurance and formulate accurate cost and labor estimates for every project phase.
- Assess potential environmental impacts and manage associated project risks.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local, state, and federal government agency rules, standards, and regulatory procedures.
- A First Degree or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- Corporate membership with the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and COREN registration is strongly preferred.
- Professional certification with recognized international bodies such as PMP or PRINCE2 is an added advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years of post-NYSC hands-on experience in construction and project execution.
- Proficiency in utilizing CAD packages and standard Microsoft Office Suite programs.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate seamlessly with design engineers, clients, and contractors.
- Exceptional time management skills with the capacity to handle competing deadlines autonomously and with strong attention to detail.
