About the Role
DET Consulting Limited, a leading Human Resource and Outsourcing solutions firm, is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Civil Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality real estate and building construction projects across Nigeria, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, structural integrity, and design precision.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise ongoing construction projects and ensure strict compliance with approved architectural and structural designs.
- Monitor project progress, financial budgets, execution timelines, and strict quality control standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to thoroughly assess construction materials, workmanship, and overall site conditions.
- Coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, regulatory authorities, and other key project stakeholders.
- Review complex engineering drawings, technical reports, and comprehensive project documentation.
- Ensure full compliance with local building regulations, occupational health and safety standards, and global engineering practices.
- Identify, analyze, and proactively resolve technical issues that arise during various phases of construction.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within the Nigerian real estate or building construction sector.
- Strong working knowledge of modern construction methods, structural drawings, and hands-on project supervision.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other essential industry-standard engineering design software.
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Valid COREN registration or demonstrated eligibility for registration is a distinct advantage.
