About the Role

Our client, a leading hospitality brand, is seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer to oversee civil works, structural maintenance, and building infrastructure across their hotel property in Nigeria.
The successful candidate will ensure that all buildings, external structures, drainage systems, and walkways are maintained to the highest safety, quality, and operational standards. Key Responsibilities- Inspect hotel buildings, structures, and external civil infrastructure regularly to identify defects and maintenance requirements.
- Plan, supervise, and coordinate civil maintenance, repairs, renovations, and improvement projects.
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules for civil and structural components.
- Prepare technical assessments, work specifications, material requirements, and cost estimates.
- Supervise contractors, artisans, and technicians to ensure compliance with quality standards and timelines.
- Monitor repairs to concrete defects, leaking roofs, damaged walls, flooring, tiling, and paving.
- Oversee the maintenance of drainage systems, parking areas, fences, and outdoor infrastructure.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable building, health, safety, and environmental standards.
- B.Sc. or B.Eng. in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, construction, or facilities management.
- Prior experience in hotel, commercial property, or institutional facilities is a distinct advantage.
- Strong knowledge of structural maintenance, concrete works, drainage, and waterproofing.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and technical specifications.
- COREN registration or eligibility for professional registration will be strongly preferred.
