About the Role
MAX is on a mission to fix Africa's notorious last-mile delivery and online-retail problems by using mobile and web platforms to connect consumers, retail businesses, and independent drivers in real-time. We are seeking a strategic, results-driven City Growth Manager to design and execute scalable growth strategies across acquisition, activation, retention, partnerships, and revenue optimization in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive growth strategies aligned with company revenue and market expansion goals.
- Drive customer acquisition across digital, offline activations, referrals, and strategic partnership channels.
- Optimize onboarding funnels, activation journeys, and lifecycle performance to improve customer retention.
- Own core growth metrics including CAC, LTV, conversion rates, and overall revenue growth through data analytics.
- Identify and manage strategic partnerships that accelerate market penetration and support new city launches.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and Finance teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field; MBA is an advantage.
- 2-5+ years of experience in Growth, Strategy, Marketing, Commercial Operations, or Business Development.
- Prior startup experience in mobility, fintech, logistics, marketplaces, or tech-enabled industries is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with SQL, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Tableau, or Power BI is a distinct advantage.
