As a subsidiary of China's Huasheng Automobiles and the distributor of cutting-edge vehicles, we require a professional who can bridge the language gap and ensure smooth daily operations across our expanding enterprise.
Key Responsibilities- Translate written documents, emails, reports, and contracts accurately between Mandarin Chinese and English.
- Provide real-time verbal interpretation during business meetings, training sessions, and executive discussions.
- Facilitate seamless cross-cultural communication between Chinese-speaking stakeholders and local Nigerian team members.
- Ensure all translations are culturally appropriate and maintain the precise technical meaning, particularly regarding vehicle specifications.
- Support cross-functional departments with administrative and language-related tasks as required.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive corporate communications and business strategies.
- Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics, Modern Languages, Translation, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of professional experience as a Chinese Translator or Interpreter in a corporate environment.
- Native or near-native fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English, encompassing exceptional spoken and written capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced automobile or commercial industry setting.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and multi-tasking abilities.
