About the Role
YellowDoor Hotels is a premier boutique hotel chain located in Abuja, Nigeria, offering upscale accommodations and vibrant dining experiences tailored for business executives and leisure travelers. We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Chief Security Officer (CSO) to lead our security strategy, protect our guests and staff, and safeguard our assets around the clock in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all three shifts to maintain continuous 24/7 security coverage across the property and facilities.
- Lead thorough incident investigations and produce accurate, confidential written reports.
- Manage CCTV, access control, fire, and security alarm systems to ensure full operational readiness.
- Enforce strict loss-prevention controls across cash handling points, the restaurant, bar, kitchen, and storerooms.
- Build, roster, train, and appraise an efficient in-house security team.
- Serve as the on-site incident commander during emergencies until formal handover to external emergency services.
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of professional security operations and risk management experience, preferably within the hospitality sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in emergency response planning, incident investigation, and report writing.
- Strong technical proficiency in managing CCTV, access control, and advanced security systems.
- Proven leadership capabilities with extensive experience in shift rostering and team management.
- Professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, CFE, Fire Safety, or First Aid/CPR are highly preferred.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from NGN 250,000 to NGN 400,000.
