About the Role
KolaDaisi University (KDU), a prestigious private tertiary institution licensed in 2016 and founded by Chief Kola Daisi, CON, is seeking a strategic and disciplined Chief Security Officer to lead its institutional security framework. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring a safe, secure, and conducive environment for students, staff, and visitors starting from the 2026/2027 academic session.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and review comprehensive campus security policies, emergency response plans, and safety protocols.
- Oversee the daily operations of the university security unit, ensuring proactive threat assessment and risk management.
- Liaise closely with external law enforcement agencies, military authorities, and community leaders to maintain law and order.
- Manage, train, and supervise security personnel to maintain high standards of discipline, vigilance, and professional conduct.
- Investigate security breaches, incidents, and emergencies on campus, providing detailed reports and actionable recommendations to university management.
- Ensure the protection of all university lives, properties, infrastructure, and institutional assets.
- Bachelor's degree (B.Sc., B.Tech., B.A.) in any discipline from a recognized institution with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division).
- Must have attained the rank of Colonel in the Nigerian Army or an equivalent rank in any other recognized security agency.
- Must have held commanding positions during service with a minimum of fifteen (15) to nineteen (19) years of relevant senior military, paramilitary, or tertiary institution security management experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in crisis management, strategic planning, and intelligence gathering.
