Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive enterprise risk management frameworks aligned with NAICOM regulations and strategic business goals.
- Identify, assess, and monitor financial, operational, and strategic risks across all business units.
- Provide expert guidance to the executive management and board on risk appetite, mitigation strategies, and capital adequacy.
- Establish robust stress-testing models and scenario analyses to proactively address market volatilities.
- Foster a risk-aware culture across the organization through continuous training and stakeholder engagement.
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Actuarial Science, Economics, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification is an advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive risk management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the insurance or financial services sector.
- In-depth knowledge of Nigerian insurance industry regulations, compliance standards, and NAICOM guidelines.
