Godfrey Okoye University Teaching Hospital (GOUNITH), formerly Ntasi Obi Hospital, is seeking a visionary and dedicated Chief Nursing Officer to lead our nursing workforce. Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and direction for all nursing and patient care services within the hospital.
- Ensure the highest standards of nursing practice, patient safety, and clinical excellence in the Anesthesia department and across the institution.
- Manage nursing staff recruitment, professional development, performance evaluations, and mentorship programs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes and hospital operations.
- Maintain compliance with national healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and professional ethics.
- Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.NSc) degree.
- Current registration and valid practicing license with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- Minimum of 15 years of post-qualification cognate nursing experience, with demonstrated leadership capacity.
- Mandatory NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
- Proven ICT compliance and familiarity with modern hospital information systems.
