About the Role
TSL Logistics Limited, a premier provider of value-added supply chain management and logistics solutions across West Africa, is seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team in Nigeria. In this critical executive role, you will act as a strategic business partner to the CEO, providing forward-looking financial insights that fuel sustainable growth, optimize capital allocation, and drive long-term value creation across our diverse group of companies. You will spearhead corporate finance, treasury management, robust internal controls, and regulatory compliance while forging strategic partnerships with financial institutions and investors.
Key Responsibilities- Provide visionary leadership for the finance function, aligning financial strategy, planning, and performance with corporate expansion goals.
- Partner with the CEO and executive leadership on strategic business initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, capital investments, and commercial expansions.
- Oversee comprehensive treasury operations, cash management, liquidity planning, and financial risk mitigation.
- Direct the preparation of accurate financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and business-unit profitability analyses.
- Establish and enforce robust accounting policies, internal controls, governance frameworks, and statutory compliance.
- Manage strategic relationships with banks, financial institutions, investors, external auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Lead, mentor, and elevate a high-performing finance team to support the organization's commercial objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance, or a related financial discipline; a Master's degree is a distinct advantage.
- Minimum of 15 years of cognate experience in corporate finance, treasury management, or investment banking.
- Mandatory active membership in a recognized professional body such as ACA, ACCA, or CFA.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen within the indigenous oil & gas, supply chain, or logistics sectors.
