About the Role
Megastar Technical & Construction Company is seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Chief Financial Officer to lead our Finance & Accounts function. The successful candidate will provide strategic financial leadership, ensuring effective budgeting, project cost control, liquidity management, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and monitor all financial activities, providing strategic financial leadership to Executive Management.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and working capital management.
- Oversee construction project financial management, monitoring costs, commitments, variations, and profitability.
- Develop and implement robust accounting policies, internal controls, and governance frameworks.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements.
- Oversee tax planning, audits, and risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Procurement, and Operations to optimize project financial performance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Finance & Accounts team.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Mandatory professional accounting qualification such as ICAN or ACCA (Master's degree or MBA is an advantage).
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role within the construction industry.
- Expertise in project-based accounting, cost control, cash flow management, and ERP systems.
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS, taxation, and financial governance.
